Pole
'Pole' is a photographic series reflecting the empowerment in which pole dance has on women. It aims to argue the stigma that surrounds the dance, highlighting that the sexualisation of pole dancers needs to be abolished. This body of work consists of portraits, shot on location, and handwritten comments from the women themselves.
